Galphimia glauca
Golden thryallis is a plant species in the Galphimia genus of the Malpighiaceae family originating from eastern Mexico.

This tree is widely cultivated in tropical areas around the world as a yard or garden ornamental plant.

Many Galphimia species are often confused with the real golden thryallis (Galphimia glauca), which includes Galphimia gracilis and Galphimia brasiliensis because they have very similar tree shapes.
